Portishead Independents.

I came to Portishead in 1960 attending St Peter's, Nailsea Grammar and Gordano schools. My association with the town continued with family visits until moving back in 1993. Both our sons attended St Joseph's and Gordano school.

I was a Town Councillor between 1995 and 2007 and for nearly a term as District Councillor. I 'retired' when I opened my retail shop. For 30 years I have been a member of the local Gordano Civic Society - who care for Portishead.

I too care for the town and hope as each day passes the place becomes better as a community of people who similarly appreciate and value where they live, work and play.
