First Drop-In Session of 2026 to Be Held at Impero Lounge, Portishead
Residents of Portishead are invited to attend the first councillor drop-in session of 2026 on Friday 30 January from 3pm to 5pm at Impero Lounge, Portishead.
The session provides a valuable opportunity for local people to speak directly with their councillors in a relaxed and informal setting. Residents are encouraged to drop in to raise questions, share ideas, or discuss any concerns affecting the Portishead community.
Alongside general local matters, councillors will be available to discuss the local devolution of assets and services, including the potential transfer of assets such as the Lake Grounds and services such as litter bins and collection, and what this could mean for local management in the future.
Residents are also invited to share their views on the North Somerset Council Local Plan, which will shape future development, housing, transport, and environmental priorities across the area. In addition, councillors will be able to provide the latest information on the impact of North Somerset Council's current financial challenges and what these may mean for local services.
Councillors will be on hand to provide updates, answer questions, and listen to residents' priorities and feedback.
Everyone is welcome, and no appointment is necessary.
